WHITCHURCH AND TONGWYNLAIS

FESTIVAL 2023

Last year’s Festival was an undoubted success so the organising Committee is enthusiastically taking forward the planning for this year and is delighted to announce that the 2023 Festival will take place between Thursday 22nd June and Saturday 1st July.

Our Festival is certainly one of the best in the area and brings benefits to Tongwynlais and Whitchurch by strengthening community spirit, by enhancing and promoting the advantages of our villages, by increasing footfall and business opportunities, and by having fun! Featured events include the Sunset Fayre at Tongwynlais and the Fete on Whitchurch Common, as well as concerts, quizzes and lots of other events and activities.

We want to make this year’s Festival even more vibrant and exciting and as well as the events which we organise, there is the opportunity for others to be arranged by the clubs, organisations, services and businesses in our area. This might be something to showcase your own group, a ‘taster’ activity which would allow you to sign up new participants, or an event to raise money for you or for a charity which you can nominate. It might be something which you have organised before or an idea for a new activity. Please give consideration to this as soon as you can and let us know so that there is time to include your idea in the planning.
